LOOK WHAT PARENTS ARE SAYING

“We’ve  been   very happy with the results. He started out bouncing off the walls and making Mr. Williams pretty crazy. Over time Phineas really began to gain not only a physical balance, but also a mental balance. He’s come a long way, and we’ve seen that not only in class, but we’ve seen it as he progressed in school, in his kindergarten class, we see it at home! We are able to sit down and say “focus”, and he’ll focus on things, it’s nice to see that progression, he’s come a long way here. His coordination has also improved. He’s more agile than he has been. We’ve really enjoyed the benefits of the class.”

"My name is Michael Anderson,
I’m 37 years old. I’m a Video Editor
for Channel 24, I’ve currently been in Karate
for a year and a half. My son has been in it a little
bit longer. He’s 9 years old. I put my son in first because he was having a lot of problems paying attention in class. His classroom behavior was very disruptive. He wasn’t respecting the teacher. He was getting out of his seat a lot. He was off task.

Since he’s been in Karate there’s been a drastic improvement. I used to get almost weekly phone calls from either the principal, vice-principal or the teacher. Since about 3 to 6 months into Karate, that totally stopped. We have not had a phone call home in the last year, and his classroom behavior has dramatically improved. There have been virtually no problems with him in class."

"Emily has been taking Kenpo for just over a year with Professor Williams and in that time she has gained more confidence in herself and has learned how to better focus. Emily has brought all of her grades up and earned a place on the honor roll. Also, every year her school competes with three other schools in track and field competitions. This year was the ten-year anniversary and Emily won several ribbons and the trophy for “Most Outstanding Female Athlete”. The trophy has NEVER BEFORE been awarded to ANY student at Emily’s school in the history of these game! Emily is an intelligent girl and a good athlete but Kenpo gave her the self-control and the stamina she needed for these achievements. We appreciate everything the Mr. Williams and
his staff has instilled in Emily and look forward to many more years of learning with Kenpo."

" I noticed a change in the way my son starts to act
around other people, he’s a lot more assertive and a lot
more humble, but also able to express what his feelings
are with total respect and consideration for people that
are around him. I’ve noticed a behavioral change at
home, the way he respects his parents, his grandparents
and elders he comes across. I’m really happy with the
way he’s matured."
